BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
The lens and settings complete the picture. These are research-based pairings from published specifications. We have not physically tested these camera, lens and accessory combinations.
Measure the kit you will carry. Bag suggestions assume the attached lens shown in the table, without a cage, grip or mounted microphone. Check the assembled kit against the internal dimensions: Lowepro SH 140 III, 22.5 × 10 × 13cm; Tenba BYOB 10, 25W × 19H × 10Dcm. The BYOB is a padded insert for another bag.
Count the whole tripod load. Include the body, lens, plate and accessories in the 4kg rating. The aluminum SLIM reaches 146.4cm; the lighter SLIM Travel reaches 130cm in Benro’s specification table. Choose for working height and stability as well as carrying weight. Large telephotos need a separate support assessment.
Choose a card for your recording mode. V60 is a flexible starting point for several of these kits, but it does not enable every video setting. Check the exact codec, frame rate, proxies and audio settings in Sony’s manual. CFexpress Type A and Type B are different formats.
